(A draft post written immediately after the concert but not continued)
There's a routine we all more or less go thru post-recital. The first few phases involve cleansing and clearing away stuff that have accumulated over time.. remove makeup and hairspray.. wash smelly rehearsal clothes costumes and euw, foot thongs.. packing your room.. i dont know abt yrs but mine is a war zone.. with stuff left on the floor since blast concert :) We also thank the people that provided support and sacrificed time and money and attention to come watch us perform and critique and encourage and just shower hugs.. people we formed relationships with on and off stage.. people who inspired us with choreography, performance, endurance, discipline, patience, and lots of love to go around.. then we finally sit down and reflect if the time was well spent, what the choreography and concert meant to us, how each person in the concert impacted us, what we were doing all these for.

(Continued today)
Yay it's friday! The end of the week after two crazy weeks of dance concerts. Took the week to get back my momentum at work. The weeks before that were like.. super ad hoc, inconsistent, not focused and zero momentum. Negative even. But then as warped logic would have it, the more work i clear, the more work comes my way. darn. but since almost everythin is a do or die situation nowadays, might as well do.

Reflections largely focused around what opportunity costs i incurred in doing these two concerts.. will i finally have time to do other things ? Should mark this as the start of a new phase? Hmm... time to step out of comfort zone again. But this week particularly was focused on catching up with relationships outside of dance that i sacrificed.. theres the midnight brunch group, the blast people grp/RS group, the families... so this weekend theres catch up session for all of them!! wow.. haven had time to lepak on weekends for a long time. was just craving to plop down on a couch and watch a movie or sth. or play taboo. haha.

Ok stuck with the dance mates as well. hahaha. we just had an outing to Raffles city BK and Citylink Pacific Coffee haha .. had a laugh fest with zul-"tellmeaboutthetimewhenyoulostyourtemper?" and "blah blah commensurate" -fikar ali, en-court shoes-"feltlikeF1butgoingat30km/h"-ying, glen-agnesbshutshimup-koh (hehe!), ro-"australia/germany/LA!"-zana, and tau-"chicken-nut-bread"-fik. Eh that pacific coffee joint damn shioK to chill!

Wondering how to keep up the momentum for dance.. but it helps to know that people around me are still keeping up the passion and learning and spreading their enthusiasm to me ! :D

wheeeeeeeeeee weekend !

Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand,
And Eternity in an hour.
